Smart
Chemistry
What
do you mean when you talk about Smart Chemistry design criteria?
We believe that at the very least chemicals need to be effective,
safe for the person using it, safe for the surface it is cleaning and
safe for the environment. You would be surprised at how many chemicals
don't come close to meeting this criteria.
What
else does Smart Chemistry do for me?
It's
chemistry that gives you more than you typically expect from a cleaning
product. For example, our carpet cleaner (TroubleShooter) actually enhances
the vacuuming process. And our all-purpose cleaner (EveryWhere) kills
odors in the drain when the waste water is pour out.
Carpet
Cleaning Products
Most
carpet products clean using high pH. How can your products clean well
at pH 7?
Products using high pH actually
promote rapid re-soiling in
carpets. We use Smart Chemistry to break up dirt and make it easier
to remove from the carpet. And we do that in a pH neutral environment.
How
do the vacuum enhancement benefits of Progress-A-Clean and TroubleShooter
help keep my carpet cleaner, longer?
After they have done the cleaning job, these chemicals use
a polymer to wrap up dirt and feed it to your vacuum cleaner. While
you are doing scheduled vacuuming, the carpet is getting a little deep
cleaning. Your carpet is also left at pH neutral, so it will not actively
re-soil.
Are
Scout Carpet products carpet mill approved?
Yes.
Floor and
Surface Cleaning Products
What
do mean when talk about you say Scout cleaners "keep working down
the drain"?
Many cleaners
just move grease into the drain where it re-greases to cause odors and
clogging. EveryWhere and Heavy Duty do not re-grease and actually work
to break up existing grease in your drains.
Does EveryWhere
work on tile and grout?
Yes, EveryWhere digs into grout and lifts dirt out and washes
away, leaving no residue.
